Above is a new version of the 64 pin on a DIP product now using the QFN version of the PIC32 which has enabled us to shave 0.1" (2.54mm) off of the width of the footprint conserving precious breadboard space.

 

Many new microprocessors have incorporated an ethernet MAC into them but lack the PHY layer. Above is what we are calling the ProtoPHY and it is the physical layer that most microprocessors do not incorporate. Connection to a microprocessor is made with the RMII interface.
